AC MINER DAY-TO-DAY AS ZUS COFFEE PRIORITIZES RECOVERY

AC Miner will be sidelined with a day-to-day status as she continues to recover from a recurring injury, ZUS Coffee announced ahead of its 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference debut.

Strong Group head of volleyball operations Kiara Cruz stressed that while Miner remains an integral part of the team’s campaign, prioritizing her health was the decision moving forward.

“AC has been dealing with a recurring shin injury since last year,” Cruz said. “She can play through it, but we opted to let her heal so that she can be 100 percent for the rest of the year.”

Miner, the fifth overall pick in the 2025 draft, was named Rookie of the Conference in the previous tournament.

In her absence, Thea Gagate and Riza Nogales are expected to anchor ZUS Coffee’s frontline, with Maika Ortiz and Caroline Santos providing support off the bench.
