MOLINA, MENESES BEGIN NEW CHAPTER WITH FARM FRESH
Ces Molina and Ria Meneses have officially joined Farm Fresh, bringing with them championship experience, veteran poise, and much-needed firepower as the Foxies begins a new chapter under Italian head coach Alessandro Lodi.
The surprising offseason switch comes after the duo decided not to renew their contracts midway through the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, ending a successful three-year run with their former club.
Molina, a former conference MVP and known for her consistent scoring and all-around game, expressed her eagerness to return to the court following a lengthy absence.
“It's nice to have a new opportunity. It's a fresh start for me and the thought of it excites me,” said Molina, who averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 digs, and 4.4 excellent receptions in her five matches last conference.
“Breadwinner din kasi ako. And now na makakalaro na ulit sa PVL, tuloy lang sa pagtulong sa family which is very important din for me,” she added.
Meneses, a three-time PVL Best Middle Blocker, is equally fired up for her debut with the Foxies. Beyond the fresh start, she is especially thrilled to be reunited with her former teammate and longtime friend, Rachel Daquis.
“Passion kasi namin ito kaya happy na maglalaro na kami ulit after months,” Meneses shared.
“Looking forward ako makalaro ulit sila Ate Rachel and at the same time, makasama for the first time 'yung ibang players. Sana makatulong ako lalo sa mga bata,” she added.
In her last conference, Meneses posted a solid 7.4 points per game.
The addition of Molina and Meneses is a timely boost for Farm Fresh, a young squad that continues to search for its first breakthrough season in the PVL.
With Lodi steering the helm, the Foxies are banking on the leadership and experience of the two seasoned players to accelerate the Foxies' development and competitiveness.
